Description

If you read our “Engraving 101” page you already learned there are basically two types of engraving; laser surface marking and deep engraving.  Our Fireman’s Axe is available with either method, however, we only offer the surface marking because that is what the competition sells.  Surface marking/engraving doesn’t compare to the time (hour upon hour, repeat) and energy spent with the deep engraving method resulting in incredible depth, contrast, and dimension.

Once completed, we polish, and depending on the options you select, color-fill black by hand, and also apply the best protective clear-coating product available by Cerekote which also involves several hours in the oven to bake on the protection!

The Ash handle is sanded and then coated with Linseed oil providing protection and aesthetics.
